Small shop, calm dogs
Black Dog is a one-groomer salon, which means no kennel room full of barking, no handoffs between staff, and no rushing. Ava works with one dog at a time and adjusts to the dog in front of her, whether that's a puppy's first groom or a senior who had a bad experience somewhere else.

A quick summary of the terms of service. The full version is presented for signature at your first appointment, and questions are always welcome.
We can't wait to meet your dog!
- Your dog is up to date on rabies with proof shown. Full vaccination is strongly encouraged.
- Black Dog does not take pets under sedation, or dogs who are pregnant or nursing.
- Any dog who needs special care for behavioral or medical reasons gets the best possible treatment. Your dog's health and safety come first.
